Vice President of Human Resources

Position Description

Rebuilding Respect for Women seeks a dynamic and innovative Vice President of Human Resources to grow our talent by ensuring we have a steady supply of the most desirable candidates from which to choose when hiring. We are looking for someone with a proven track record to develop efficient and successful hiring processes. This position may also be responsible for managing special talent-related initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Conceive of, develop, and implement creative strategies to build a candidate pipeline
  • Develop RRFW employment branding materials that can be deployed to attract candidates that fit our culture and needs
  • Mobilize RRFW staff, including senior leadership team, around recruiting initiatives
  • Build strategic external recruiting networks that serve as a pipeline of potential candidates
  • Coordinate closely with hiring managers on hiring needs and forecasting, strategies for finding and selecting candidates, drafting position descriptions etc.
  • Provide relevant internal recruiting training (i.e. interviewing skills) to hiring managers
  • Screen candidates and create short-list pools for specific positions
  • Manage long-term relationships with candidates that may meet a future RRFW need
  • Communicate regularly with current candidates to maintain a good feeling towards RRFW
  • Build processes and tools to support recruitment at RRFW
  • Oversee and/or manage RRFW's online recruiting system
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal law related to hiring practices
  • Support or lead special talent management projects as assigned
Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Professional certification in relevant field a plus
  • 3 or more years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience developing and implementing new and innovative ideas
  • Ability to effectively judge talent
  • Ability to influence and motivate others
  • Experience developing a brand
