Website Content Manager

The Web Content Manager is responsible for Web marketing content management, some design, and possibly, site analytics.

The main function of the Content Manager will be updating textual information, as well as adding/removing/editing photographic content.

Some editing, and proof reading of Web content will be necessary.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an ability to interface with the content provider.

Software/technical Skills/Experience:
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Web-related applications. Prefer expert knowledge of Dreamweaver
  • Experience with Website design using Adobe Dreamweaver
  • Ability to download and upload files onto/from the hosting server
  • Experience creating a non table-based CSS layout with external style sheets
  • Photoshop skills for image editing and optimization
  • Blogger skills are helpful
Basic Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of website infrastructure and usability
  • Ability to work off-site effectively in regard to receiving and managing supplied content
  • Ability to access the hosting server when needed
  • Ability to access emails for correspondence and file exchange.
  • Experience editing website content
  • Strong conceptualization, proof reading and Manageret skills.
  • Solid typographic skills and an understanding of Web layout principles
  • Able to devote 5 hours per week (possibly more on occasion)
  • Marketing and/or copyrighting skills are helpful
  • Social media campaign experience is helpful
